No I thought half time was so Boro biased I turned it off after 90 not wanting to hear more bias, I thought we were slightly the better, I’d be disappointed if we were one trick pony Boro and I just assumed the Sky team would have grated me at 90 like they did at 45... Didn’t need their opinions, I watched it the same as them and drew my own conclusions
Laughable, what's the refs email address? Sky want us in the Championship, bigger draw than any club outside PL.
Lot of long balls. Little service to Roofe. They will be happy with the point. Lots of fans happy with the result. Not sure I am but the boss says it was a fair result.
I have to say I was surprised that Pontus was dropped and this seems to back it up. Liam Cooper – 5 – The Cooper of old returned at times tonight, he makes some extremely questionable decisions which were lucky not to cost us.
Very late subs didn't do it for me to be honest. Bamford would have a big incentive to score but not with 5 mins left. Surely that should have been earlier.
Evening all, Missed the game due to work, followed on the beeb, they seemed to deem it as boring. Anyway, decent point against, pullis and his dirty hoofers. Were top and will be tomorrow. MOT
This game, up to now was always going to be a big test of our resolve, and I think we come through with flying colours. If Boro are the best we're going to come up against this season, then it's all exciting times ahead for us, and everyone will be in a state of "can't wait for next game" mode. Pulis had a 5 man backline to try and stop us, and it worked for him this time, also tells us he respected Leeds but feared our strike power and counter attacks. The international break is going to feel like a month of Sundays, but on our return, we will still be tested to see our we fare after a 2 week break, another test we must overcome. We definitely missed Pablo, and thank God both Pablo and Berardi will hopefully be fit on our return. We got Millwall after the break, then Preston and Birmingham. I noticed the Sheff Wed and Brentford games are 9-15 and 9-30 pm kickoffs, anyone got any info as to why?
Boro will take 3 points off most of the main teams so our point tonight was big. It also highlights that we are not a flash in the oan and can shove back when shoved. Bielsa has Plan A and knows if you stick to Plan A you win points, so he will only do like for like changes, he will keep going with the same plan which should keep clean sheets but create goals. He said that last week in an interview. Saiz could have been a hero tonight but too many times his final ball was wrong or missed. Thats the difference between him and a top top player. No criticism because there will be plenty of times his final ball comes off we score. I would have swapped Roofe for Bamford at half time but thought Harrison played well and cant wait for one of his efforts to go in because more will follow
