Most of that England team were great Sol Campbell Young Rooney Becks Owen + Kane nowadays and Will Hughes soon
**** sake Tobes you picked some odd ones there. Owen was injured most of his career Campbell was above average but not anywhere near World class he won a few domestic trophies. Beckham was good with one foot as long as it was from a dead ball and Rooney didn't show up for any International tournaments. Lampard Gerrard even possibly Terry and Ashley Cole were World class but not in International tournaments.
Because the champions of the 6 top leagues in Europe go into pot 1(along with the CL and EL winners). Russia is the 6th best league in Europe and Lokomotiv Moscow won the league last season, hence they are in pot 1. It really isn´t that difficult.
Cheers; personally would have thought Portugal (Porto and Benfica) would have been judged the 6th best league in Europe.
I´m pretty sure that Portugal have 47.248 points and Russia have 53.382 points so no, Portugal are not 6th, they are 7th. It really isn´t that difficult.
Owen won the Ballon D'Or ffs Campbell finished in the Team of the Tournament at one of the WCs (2012?) Rooney was one of the best players in the world in his position when young, he just gave up Becks was Becks
None of those ****s were anywhere near world class ya ****in diddy. Jesus wept Sonny you ****in thick ****in ****.
I think ideally you would need to play an influential part in winning an International tournament the domestic league and the European cup and perform consistently for the best part of a decade. So in all honesty we don't have any of those . The two closest for me would be Lampard and Ashley Cole.
Agree especially with your use of the term "closest". And whoever mentioned Ferdinand is ****in at it. If there is one thing I cannot abide it is a WUM!
