Perhaps our Club doesn't derserve a decent manager, considering the attitude some of our fans have towards the only manager who has won a promotion and a trophy for Charlton Athletic since the year 2000.

Why should another manager (like Lee Bowyer) bother knocking his pan out if he's just going to be treated the same way as Chris Powell even if he succeeds.

 

Whilst Powell has not been the success he was with since he left, it cannot be forgotten what he did for us.

The standing ovation he got from a packed Valley on his return with Huddersfield will live long in the memory.

SCP enjoys hero status by a huge majority of Charlton fans. No reason to think Bowyer wouldn't be happy with that.
