Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham As reported elsewhere, Tommy Elphick is having a medical with #hcafc this morning. City have until midday to complete a deal for him to be eligible for tomorrow’s game with Derby County.
You have selectve memory or just cant read / understand very well. Argumentative, stubborn, acting clever **** for the sake of it. I bet you are one of those obnoxious twats in real life that can never admit hes wrong about anything. Anyway, re. Elphick.Given where we are nowadays, yes, he could be a very good signing for us. Experienced leader with physical presence. However, hand on heart, can you really say you dont have concerns that he could be the next in our too long line of signings who spend more time injured than playing? 30 year old just recovered (?) from a serious knee injury. Hasnt played that much in past couple of years. Nige, rightly said he needs signings nailed on capable of 40 odd games per seasons; like his early requests, thats all out of the window now. I have my doubts, thats all. Theres usually good reason why a player like him takes so long to be moved on. Different circumstances, but theres reasons why McDonald was let go (and Mazuch). Our track record isnt great. No wonder some of us are cynical. Add in that the club is now desperate and is run by a clown. Doesnt make me a fanny, just a realist. I post plenty of positive stuff too, for example about Nige. Just give acting the clever **** a break eh.
Kinnel... Hull City are in advanced talks to loan Derby County striker Chris Martin (@lauriewhitwell)
I don't get why people wanted Grosicki to leave. He only started 22 games last year and scored 9 and assisted 5 that's a far better ratio than what Bowen achieved who is universally loved. Maybe he could try harder but **** me I'd love it if one of our wingers did that this season. We have replaced him with Milinkovic who doesn't even seem to get a chance.
Simple... because he didn't want to be here. He could have the skill of Ronaldo & Messi combined but he can still get the **** out if he doesn't want to play for our club
martin would be fantastic just what we need. regarding the grosicki deal it doesn't matter if we get 20 million or let him go for nothing we arent going to see the money so only going to line ehab's pocket.
I only went to away games and every time I saw him play he looked as if he was trying as much as anyone else. If his attitude stank and he scored 9 goals and 5 assists, right now I would take him and surely it is the managers job to get someone like that playing? If we didn't let him go I bet he would try till January.
