Modric is another one. Does anyone see how he is worth £40mill??

If he signed for us when he had the chance would he be worth that?? I think not. Another one that the English(London) press bum up so much and he ain't all that IMO.

Firstly i think Fab is better than silva, and I only included 4 strikers ( if you count ronaldo and messi as strikers ) and i think there all better than tevez.

And at the people saying xavi and inesta is better than ronaldo, i think thats bull but eh thats just me. Not only has he hit record goals in the la liga, not only has he the best goal to app ratio At real madrid in its history ( one of, if not the biggest clubs in the world ) Hes done it with a significantly weaker squad around him than messi has at madrid, or the madrid of 2002.

Alot of people just hate ronaldo because hes from united and because he dives, but most people who say he dives and messi or other dont, is because they dont acctually watch barca play.

Eh thats just my opinion though, i just think messi and ronaldo are way ahead of the likes of xavi and inesta

For me Puyol is still the best centre half in the world (if not Pique), dont like Vidic at all - every time I watch him he cynically fouls someone, whereas Ferdinand's made something like 2 fouls in the last year according to Opta.

Huh??? Chiellini's pony! If you're looking for best centre backs in the world it's currently in my opinion Vidic, Pique or Puyol.

Guess you aint watched chiellini play much in real life, and secondly i happen to think puyol is vastly overrated in this day and age, hes past it in my opinion.

pique and thiago silva however are to class deffenders.

Not too sure about Ozil. I find it too hard to do a top ten because of different positions etc. Easier to say who is best in each position.

  9. I'm gonna disagree about the Ronaldo/Xavi/Iniesta thing.

For all Ronaldo's talents and goal-scoring, he is not a team player and, in his first season at Real Madrid, sometimes his urge to go on alone was to the detriment of the team - not every team would be able to accommodate such a player.

Xavi and/or Iniesta would improve ANY team they played in.

It's all just an opinon, though <ok>

And yet even though Ronaldo isnt a team player in two season he gets 25 assists more than xavi or inesta, and 90 goals, about 80 or so more than each of them, obviously they offer more to the team than assist and goals, but ronaldo is a goalscorer, his job is to score goals, and in my opinion he does that better than any other player right now.

You can say what you like about him, but how would he not improve any team in the world? And Ronaldo doesnt really go on his own all the time anymore either, now he normally goes past one maybe two then passes to someone else like di maria and waits for the cross to get in the box, thats the most typical play, i dont honestly think you watched him much last season.

    again opinion based.

  11. Some individuals mean that a team change their style of play - used to see it with Celtic when Strachan was boss and Hartson still playing.

Although, Hartson was a better striker than he usually replaced, the team stopped playing through the midfield and allowing the full backs to get up and resorted to aiming it for Hartson to knock it down.

Real sometimes play EVERYTHING through Ronaldo and the team absorbs his style of play and adjusts accordingly - I think Man U were a more fluid team once he'd left.

He's a wonderful player - just sometimes one player's style of play can dominate how the rest of the team interact (maradonna for instance) and I don't think that Ronaldo would fit into the Barca team (again, just an example)

Well consdiering united done alot better when ronaldo was there it doesnt matter how fluid they were dont you think?

The season united when the champs league double and prem league, not only did ronaldo score about 25 more goals than anyone else that season and still scored in the champs final, you can hardly they became a better than without him. Ronaldo and rooney had a perfect pathernership and i deffinately dont think they became either a better team or a more fluid team for that matter when he left.

And i personally think if ronaldo went to barcas he would suit perfectly replacing Villa on the left, As they do now messi and villa interchanging postions, ronaldo would do that to, but with much greater affect, scoring more whilst even setting up more, i also think he'd understand he has to share being the star of the man with messi and understand that he cant hog the ball, especially when barca average about 60%+ posseison every game, meaning he'd still see more of the ball he does now at real madrid even when passing alot more.

Chiellini has spent a large part of his career playing left-back. The top centre-backs in the world for me are Pique, Puyol and Kompany. Admittedly I haven't seen enough of Thiago Silva to judge. Only know of him from FIFA and the odd Milan game on TV.

Tevez should be there instead of vidic. Hell kompany better than vidic. Personally think if Barcelona had to play in the premiership for even one year it would take the shine off their team.

    21 assists not 25.

In the same period Messi has 106 goals and 39 assists. Scary stuff!

With Xavi and Iniesta being midfielders they offer much more in terms of build up play and defensive duty than end product.

What a ****ty list! Although your top 5 is nearly right but in the wrong order. 1)Ronaldo 2)Messi 3)Rooney 4)Xavi 5)Vidic

The rest of your list is bollocks and just jumping on the bandwagon and ignoring players from non "glamorous" clubs. To omit Grant Holt when he is absolutely without doubt the best out and out centre forward around is ludicrous and have blooming iniesta the cheat in is just stupid.

The other 5 would be in no particular order

    Ozil
    Holt
    Casillas
    Aguero
    Sneijder

So grow up and stop being such a flipping idiot you sad act
