    Sunday 2nd September 4pm
    Premier League
    Vicarage Road

Our victory on Monday made it three wins from three games, as a magnificent second half performance took the points.
Pochettino tinkered with the side without making any subs and it worked wonders.
Now we face another away game, though the trip is considerably shorter.
If we want to make it four from four though, then we'll have to beat another side with a 100% record.

Javi Garcia's side have been the early season surprise package.
The Spanish coach replaced Marco Silva in January and Watford's form wasn't great for the rest of the season.
A relatively quiet transfer window saw them lose their star man Richarlison to Silva's Everton.
Aside from turning Gerard Deulofeu's loan into a permanent move, they were very low-key.
Three wins in the league, plus another at Reading in the Carabao Cup is a very promising start.

Some may argue that the fixture list has given them a fairly easy start.
Opening the campaign at home to Brighton may not sound tough, but Chris Hughton's men beat Man Utd.
A Europa League drained Burnley at Turf Moor is probably another mixed bag.
Beating Palace at home was tricky, but they managed to get over the line, despite a late scare.
You can only beat what's in front of you and they're certainly doing that.

Watford have started each of their Premier League matches with the same eleven players.
They rotated wholesale for the midweek win in the cup, so there won't be any questions about fatigue.
It seems something of a rarity nowadays, but stability tends to lead to consistency, so it's understandable.
If it ain't broke, then don't fix it seems to be the mantra. We need to break it.

The corresponding fixture from the last campaign ended in a frustrating draw.
Having gone behind early to a Kabasele header from a corner, the side rallied and were soon level.
Heung-Min Son tapped home at the far post after a Christian Eriksen cross eluded several defenders.
A mean spirited game took a casualty early in the second half, as Davison Sanchez saw red for a raised arm.
Doucoure struck the post, but neither side could find a winner:

The match at Wembley was similarly competitive, as Hughes and Doucoure gave our midfield a tough time.
Neither side had created much before a horrible goalkeeping error allowed Eriksen and Alli to combine and score.
Karnezis probably felt even worse, as his opposite number made some good saves to keep Watford out.
Harry Kane made it 2-0 early in the second half, but it didn't seem to stop the nerves, as we crept to a win.
It was a strange atmosphere at the ground, as we virtually secured a top four place:

No injury news for this one yet, but Heung-Min Son will still be absent for the Asian Games Final.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dembele, Dier, Alli, Eriksen; Moura, Kane.
Subs: Vorm, Aurier, Sanchez, Davies, Amos, Winks, Llorente.

Watford: Foster; Janmaat, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas; Doucoure, Capoue; Hughes, Peyreyra; Gray, Deeney.
Subs: Gomes, Femenia, Prodl, Marriapa, Masina, Sema, Success.

    Referee: Andre Marriner.

    TV: Sky Sports.

We've used three different systems this season. Which would you prefer to see for this match?
Would you change any of the starting XI or anything on the bench?
Is there anything specific about Watford that you think we can exploit?

Will be a good test for Spurs, as Watford have had a W3 season start.
Peyrera has a strike rate as good as the rest this season, so
the defence will have to be a lot tighter on him this game.

Any Spurs line-up/formation is bound to be ok on paper.
I trust the team and manager to make the adjustments as
    necessary if things go pear-shaped.

Dembele can sit this one out, we need to wrap him up for some crucial games. Watford will be tough though, had a great start to the season. We can hopefully rely on at least one Trippier assist, seeing as he's been the scourge of Watford since joining us.

Trippier has to play. If he does, I expect us to win comfortably, as they just let him put cross after cross in until we score <laugh>

Didn't he get four assists in one game against them and score the only goal in another? They must hate him.

I don’t remember 4 assists in 1 game, but you could be right. He’s certainly got a few goals/assists over the last 3 or 4 games against them, though.
Must be pretty painful for them keep getting stung like that, which is ironic. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Why? It's ****ing miles away. It's actually further than Watford! <laugh>
Surely there are more appropriate stadiums in London? How many are going to go to Milton Keynes for a Carabao Cup game midweek?

Even more important then to win the PL game,
to put the mental doubts in their minds.

It's a 30,500 capacity stadium, though. Watford should bring their allocation.

I have a feeling the club is gonna be in for a rude awakenening if the game is indeed in MK. I grit my teeth at going to Wembley, not a ****ing chance I’m going up there on a weeknight for a league cup game.

Surely it makes more sense to just let it be played at Watford? Just agree to a 50-50 split of gate revenue or something?

Mate there’s loads just in Mk that would go.

Mk sold out when Man U came here a few years back.

I doubt they’ll have a problem shifting the tickets

Yeah they sold out because it was a MK home tie vs Man Utd.

This is likely to be Spurs B vs Watford B.

Yea but they wasn’t Mk fans that went.

Mk get a gate of 6k yet they sold out 30k for that game.

Spurs will only need to knock out around 20k tickets for the match the other will be up to Watford.

Can’t see it being a problem

Oh btw it wasn’t a full strength united team either
