So, assuming cash form operations was basically neutral or a bit positive due to depreciation, those who follow transfers should be able to do the ins and outs and estimate cash position at July 2018. That might then shed some light upon the transfer movements this summer?
A diplomatic statement from Potter, " I counted at training that our squad is about 27 or 28 players, so from a numbers perspective I think we are okay". He has touched on the fact before that the balance of the squad is incorrect and at the moment that hasn't been resolved. One more day to go!
me , you and never could have stood in that group , it doesn't mean that that we're good enough to play at C/ship level
You cannot believe anything coming out from the club any more, even from Potter sad to say......................
yep fraid so although jerkins is fire proof I suspect Potter isn't therefore he has to mind his Ps & Qs , he has a job to do , a job which was hard enough but now . This isn't going to end well
Numbers are fine but quality is not up to scratch yet and that is Potts job to get right. It is improving and will continue to improve that i have not any problem with and how many of our rivals would do as well with the rightly clear out and a new manager that we have done, There wont be many i can tell you.....Other teams that did the same over the years and ended up in League 1 was Man City, Newcastle and look at them now....Of course we are not perfect yet but in time we will get better and we will do that in a sensible way and not bring in players that just want the money and long contracts with football and performances being a side line.....We have bought over the past 5 seasons some really good quality players but once they have secured their long excellent deals they were mediocre at best and that was not because they were not a quality player it was because they didn't try to much like they should have......Lets hope them days are gone and we start from scratch and build a solid side again, and i think we will...
"Numbers are fine but quality is not up to scratch" - so what about the BALANCE of the squad? Can you give us your opinion on that?
Be careful not to spill your tea in your lap. In fact, put your tea down 'til the end of the transfer window. Wouldn't want you having an accident if the Swans sign a player before the window closes.
Fingers crossed you're pleasantly surprised. Think you've more chance of signing a player tomorrow than we have of picking up a win in September! Just a goal would be nice.
And pgf is in the board room and knows everything what the club is doing... And that is before the club does.....What a guy...
