Jürgen Klopp has just engaged the services of the Premier League’s first specialist throw-in coach. https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/media-watch/313746-liverpool-trial-coach-throw-ins
must be another angle to this. i have seen teams do the long ball throw in as they have big forwards to flick it on to. ours are short asses in relevant terms. if its just normal throw ins surely they should have learnt how to do this from a young age.
I think it's a good idea. I've often said that we are very wasteful with our throw ins and there must be a tactic that can be used rather than throw and hope. I'd say it's not about showing them how to throw a ball further, more about positioning of the on field players to receive it. btw I didn't have to register to read the article.
I was talking about the top link of the two Zorbs posted - the Telegraph. I didn't click on the other one although I just noticed it's lfctv and I am registered with them.
Even better - ''Gronnemark established himself when he secured the world record for the longest ever throw-in – over 56 yards.''
