Disappointed but....

I can really see our Midfield get more goals and a few from defence. With a strong defence. Look at them lot when the forwards werent scoring the midfield werent doing anything. I reckon we have a midfield suitable to fill gaps.

 

Yep, it's only a matter of time before Cabaye scores. He's been getting in shot after shot on target. Add Ben Arfa to that and wait for Ba to get back his form (which he will do from now onwards) - not eating or drinking won't have done his game any favours at the start of the season and people have been too quick to judge his ability based on that. We're going to bag plenty goals imo, and especially if we make any good January additions.

 

Saylor is still trying at corners aswell. Colo is due another volley

 

Certainly. People have Carroll pidgeonholed as a hoof it up top striker when it actually does not suit him. Liverpool have been very guilty of this when he's played for them. I watched Carragher knock in the region of 15-20 hopeful balls sky high at him in one game. You could sense his frustration. We only got the best out of him when we learnt to fire more into his chest and feet. He has excellent shooting technique too. His lay offs can get better and will. His height is only his strongest suit when attacking the ball in the box, and even then its more to do with the conviction with which he attacks the ball. As much as Liverpool may have paid over the odds for him, there is a still a very good reason why he cost what he did and Ba was free. They are in different leagues in terms of ability and class for me.

Yeah I know but in the videos he looks a lot quicker and stronger than he has been for us so far. Just trying to have some optimism until our "war chest" is unleashed in January.
