Longstaff looks promising! Full of nerves but you can see some quality.

    Can't recommend IPTV highly enough.
The IPTV app for smart TVs is about £5 and then you just need a subscription, about £5 a month though you can get a year for £30 but I'm not brave enough to gamble on that.
I'm busy poncing free trials at the mo and have watched every Newcastle game so far this season for nowt

He's not looked out of place... But I don't know if that is a compliment in this team <laugh>

Just caught a couple of times with the pace of the football, but otherwise seems composed on the ball and makes a decent pass.

    Wingers are ****e
    Muto needs more playing time
    Clark is not a LB
Schar's long passing has been good
Lobby needs more playing time (at a Championship club and not Pompey)
Sterry looks ok, a bit Simpson-esque but to me looks more solid than Yedlin/Manqillo
    Ki - certainly no Merino
Joselu - looks like he could score one minute then looks like Gui'vrach the next minute

Championship from a Championship team - and i'm not talking about Forest - Schar and Fernandez are poor - how Rafa sanctioned Mbemba leaving I'll never know, Clark is awful, Sterry not good enough, Darlow should still be with Forest. Ki - showed as much so far as I'd expect from a relegated player - **** all. Atsu shouldn't be at the club, Kenedy I have no idea what happened to the player from last year but he's been dog. Joselu is Joselu tries hard but not good enough to play Championship IMHO. Muto runs alot but that's about all I've seen out of him tonight.

Kenedy is doing my nut in. On a one man crusade to get those pass completion percentages up.
Dont know what Sam Byram has done to him like, daren't go near him.

**** me can someone fix Muto's boots. That Lyall looks ****ing ace.

Sterry not bad for a first competitive match. Nice cross early doors, no worse at defending than Yedders

I just feel that a lot of clubs are leaving us behind. Primarily the issue is the spending, but what are our tactics? There’s so little freedom or pace of attack, and we’ve been pedestrian for years.

Forest have a three man midfield which is bossing our two man effort. I’m not sure any other club plays a rigid and flat 4-4-2 like we do. We just look outdated.
