Now that the football is out of the way, the big question everyone is asking is how bad is the version of Gimme Gimme Gimme by Cher. Or i should say a duo of Cher and Autotune. It's even worse than her version of Fernando. Basically though I'm just confused about how Cher has got to her current position of celebrity royalty. What has she actually done? You can tell when she goes on a chat show it's so reverential. And when you hear her turn up to film Mamma Mia it was all about "OMG, Cher's on the set..." and this is a film with Meryl Streep in it, a person significantly more worthy of respect. It's almost as if her marketing / publicity people suddenly said to themselves "I've got a new wheeze, I'm going to pitch Cher like she's royalty" and everyone has bought it.
Just listened to it. It is spectacularly bad!!! This autotune may have been a gimmick once, but now it is covering the bits she cannot do anymore.
I have a ticket that I've already bought and paid for. Brilliant. I'm also confused about how much I've paid for it and why, as I just rushed through it to get it done.
