Well timed. I was arguing with someone yesterday about the difference between F1 and Indy on safety; F1, for its many, many safety faults over the years, has been fairly proactive about making improvements in recent seasons. Indy keeps whistling past the graveyard, shrugging every time a driver is maimed or killed on a speedway. Today, F1's (somewhat unpopular) decision to proactively address a safety deficit likely saved a life.
Beckham jr signs new deal in the NFL earning him £75M over three seasons. See, not just our football that's bonkers!
Mark Cavendish is taking an indefinite break from cycling after being diagnosed with Epstein-Barr. Nasty....recovery can be prolonged and rest is essential.

Hrrmph! They’ll be chilling going through the village as they’ll have climbed Cheddar Gorge about 20 minutes previously, while the sprinters will be getting ready for the Intermediate Sprint between Midsomer Norton and Radstock.
Get in! Wigan win away to st Helens, stopping them lifting the trophy in front of Wigan! Happy wife, happy life!
If you're watching the Tour of Britain tomorrow, keep a look-out for me from about 12:40 to 13:00 as the tour goes through Llandovery. I'll be one of about 7 people in a green t-shirt geeing people up to yell and clap (don't think they'll need much geeing )
Will you be the point in the line of people where the green line suddenly drops down a bit, or are they all your height?
The Welsh are often described as short, dark and hairy. Personally I think they look short because they have sunk ankle deep in all that mud they have instead of land. Four years in Wales and I have just about dried out
