I see Matthew Lindsay of the Herald warning that the SFA will have "blood on their hands" if they switch Scotland games, cup finals from Hampden to Murrayfield. Besides being a blethering ****, does he have a point? Where should the SFA be based? And does anyone care?
It should be taken round the country depending on nation we are playing ... No need for a national stadium Top 10 nations , Celtic park or Ibrox Medium rated nations , tynecastle or easter road Small to medium , pittodrie Diddy nations , Dundee, Perth or Motherwell
Cup finals Celtic involved...no rangers , at Ibrox Rangers involved ...no celtic , at Celtic park Celtic v Rangers , murrayfield
Hampden is the spiritual home of Scottish football. Hampden has seen the biggest capacities in the UK and Europe and is home to the mighty Queens Park. They need to get rid of the running track and bring the Rangers and Celtic ends closer to the pitch but that is certainly achievable. ANY GLASWEGIAN WANTING ****TER CAPITAL EDINBURGH TO GET THE GIG IS A BUMDER.
If we keep Hampden, then they need to tell Queens park to play at lesser Hampden . Joke that they still play on the pitch every second week.
Celtic fans leave from central and get off at Haymarket Rangers fans leave from Queens street and get off Waverly
Waverly station is miles away from Murrayfield ffs. Haymarket isne much better. 30000 Rangers fans walking down Princess street and meeting 30000 Tims coming out of Haymarket station. I don't think you thought that wan through Pudley.
The average person walks 4mph. So that means 3.5 approx miles away. So "miles away" then. Don't make me school you all day today again ffs.
