I have a stupid amount of friends that I see all of on probably a monthly basis. I have about 10 that I will see every week, and the rest is maybe once or twice a month when there is some big event happening.

Despite this I actually much prefer to just be lying on the sofa doing **** all and have nobody talk to me, I have somehow just acquired a load of friends in spite of being a miserable ****. It is good every so often but sometimes you want to just chill the **** out and not do anything without being bombarded on WhatsApp about why you aren't going to one of their birthdays or whatever and being called a **** for not turning up to some social event that will be the same as 95% of other social events.

  4. African Stan would eat chicken, rice and peas.

I’m not sure I can put it any more simply than that, mate.

  6. I don’t know.

    Ask your mother.

    It’s a cultural thing.

All the black guys I knew at school used to eat a lot of chicken, rice and peas.

Maybe all the black guys had lazy mums.

Or just gave the same dumb answer to the same dumb question.

So would people go out alone or even on holiday alone?

I guess anti social people wouldn't. So what do they do. Stay in, read books, look TV and **** a lot?

I'm antisocial to a certain extent. Generally think people are hard going and find it hard to trust anyone. Rather do stuff with my boys.

I do go out with mates from time to time and it's a good laugh but on the whole I'd rather chill out alone. I work long hours in a stressful job so that doesn't help tbh.

I've been travelling alone round Europe, years back, loved it and met people along the way - some I'm still in touch with.

Wouldn't go on 'holiday' alone. Wouldn't go to the cinema etc. alone.

I would and do go to the pub alone, and do quite often. It's now my local so doesn't feel like going alone anyway!!

I'm more antisocial than social. I think my background and how I was brought up made a difference. Other than my Mrs and kids I don't have 1 family member to talk too, and I'm only 38, I miss that when I see others doing it. Not a big deal though as it's been like that for approx 25 years, it just has an effect now I'm older (I think).

Apart from the not going on holiday alone, and a few specific details I think most of us could have written that post mate.

I think it sums up blokes in general pretty well.

I went on holiday to Malta first Christmas and New Year after the split as I didnt want to spend Christmas without my boys and I have no other close family.

Didnt expect to, but had a great time, if you get my drift ;)
