I don't do that so will have to keep an eye out for it coming on TV or Netflix.

I remember reading the book after hearing rave reviews of the book. I found the book tedious and the language extremely verbose. (Why use a sentence to describe an object if you can fill up two pages). Based on the subject matter of the book though, I can see how that could be a good film... Although I imagine they have to add a lot of filler scenes to make it film length.

    Fauda is brilliant.

Predominantly English dubbed but about 30% is subtitled. Just about to finish season 1, probably tonight.

You've spent too long over the other side of the pond. Conrad was a narrative genius who declined the Nobel prize for literature. Heart of Darkness is a wonderful book. Read the opening paragraph again some time - you can google it.

He was an overly flowery old windbag that reminds me of an old man in a rockin chair saying "back in my day..." you're left the whole time thinking... "just get on with it already."

He's an English language equivalent of Victor Hugo. I never liked Victor Hugo for the same reason: the inability to express a thought or idea in a clear concise manner.

Yeah mate. Well worth a watch...

No filler. 35 min episodes, tackling Israel and Palestine terrorism. Quality stuff.

Put the audio to English and it's really clever as you have one side talking in English and one side in Arabic (subtitled).

Some reviews are saying this is what Homeland should have been.
