It's hard to judge young players in difficult circumstances , but none of them impressed me really . I thought Mckenzie in particular looked very much out his depth . But to be honest , the senior pros did **** all to help them . Derby just looked a different class to us , from attitude to movement , to first touch , just better at everything
It looked like Toral , Stewart , Dicko , MacDonald , Keane etc. were doing everything possible to avoid getting picked on saturday I can accept a lack of quality but the effort was pathetic

That Paul chap on Blunderside made a lot of sense. The clubs been in decline since Brucie quit and there's still a long way to fall yet...On loan players, which free agent would fancy coming here unless the club offered BIG money to them? It isn't going to happen. The word is out that the club is run by a bunch of £uckwits. The best we could hope for is young kids from a prem club who are told to come, but doubt it we'd get the necessary quality. Still Derby did us a favour by getting us out of the Milk, Rumbelows, Coca-Cola, Littlewoods, Caravan cup.
Macdonald was a disgrace, poor kids having to play with a senior pro like that. Stewart was brushed off the ball like he wasn't there, how many millions did we pay for him. I felt a bit sorry for Dicko in terms of effort but his finishing was appaling, he did give me another good laugh too with the overhead kick from hell
