Now Meireles is gone ,all of Roy Hodgsons Liverpool signing have left the club, Konchecky to Leicester, Poulsen to Evian, Jones and Jova (could be argued to be a Rafa signing)
Jones hasn't gone, but he's he's unlikely to be used. This is Anfield reports that £30 million has been removed from the wage bill.
Sounds about right to me. Good riddance to the lot of 'em! Shame about Raul, but if he's only motivated by money then it's no loss.
We still have Brad Jones who I doubt will be used.. ever, I mean he conceeded 16 goals in 7 games while on loan at Derby
Yes, see the comments above. You can have him if you like though Lettuce. Do you need anyone to do some chores around your house? We only ask that you pay his wages for us- or at least half of them. Not suggesting you would, but you can even do unsavoury acts to him if you so choose- but please don't tell and most certainly don't take pictures.
last night I emailed a Portugese mate ranting about Miereles being a bastard and pissing off to Chelsea at the last minute. This was his reply: "no good ex porto grass combing syphilitic bugger , sod him. I always said , as you well know , that portuguese players are bad for any team , including the portuguese national team" See - even my foreign friends have balanced considered opinions
Lots of Rafa dross is gone as well, unfortunetaly most of the best other than Reina, Skrtel, Agger, and Lucas remain. This summer looked like not only buying quality and potential, but getting rid of everything about H&G and Hodgson...
It's great to distance ourself from the dross of last year! So many cack players have now gone, Poulse, Ngog and Konchesky in particular.
It's like buying a new house, it never feels like yours until you get rid of the crap left behind from previous owners and upgrade to your own style. Can we officially now just wipe the Hodgson era from records and just say we took an extended 6 month break from football?
What i find remarkable is that Roy never came in for some of his excellent buys... I mean if he thought they were good enough for him at Liverpool, well they must be good enough to follow him to WBA...
Yeah a bit like the joint manager farce oops.......sorry did i write that out loud? As for you King Eric....don't make me mention FA Cup withdrawals or invisible grey kits
