On the plus side the corner count is close. We’ve had 3 they’ve had 5. I wonder if we’ll turn to our strength and depth on the bench to turn this game around?
No, but equally he doesn't have to big players up when they obviously aren't good enough. I'd have liked to have seen Tyler Hamilton play tonight. I'd take Stewart off and stick Sheaf on, nothing to play for now, give the young lads some minutes.
But that just raises expectations for fans. People who don't watch these lads only have the manager's word to go on.
Listening to RH it sounds very very depressing so I'm guessing if your watching it is much worse. Apparently Grosicki in the stadium so not gone yet.
I've been more frustrated with the more experienced players, awful going forward , look like a league 2 side trying to break down Man City
Defeats I can take lack of effort and commitment is not acceptable. Shocking performance. Wimbledon with 10 men though will likely lose are beating West Ham 1-0 because of passion and effort our lot are taking the piss.
I suspect he will at least wait for the end of the loan window .. And given what we all know will happen then .. I think he could well walk quoting impossible working conditiins
Has there been one good signing over the last 18 months. Every player we get Adkins bigs up and none are up to scratch as far as I can see. Burnsie and Swannie don't think Adkins has any say at all in any players that come in.
I hope if he does he remains honest and open and tells us exactly why. He should get in contact with the LMA if he feels he is being done over. I was waiting for my car MOT today and when it was done, the bloke said about City and how poor they've been. "Don't you think it's odd that we're suddenly not playing very well?" Me: "Not really, the players aren't really good enough." "It's almost like they're not playing well on purpose to get relegated, like they've been told to do it." "I don't think any player has such little integrity to follow an instruction like that," I told him, ****ing willing the card machine to sort its **** out so I could leave. "Aye, but for the right money. You don't let in goals like we have at this level that often. Something isn't right there. It wasn't under Slutsky either." Now, his gibberish about match fixing aside, he's raised something there that I actually agree with. I don't think we look better now (or last season, really) than we did under Slutsky. They're mostly the same players, mostly due to lack of investment. I don't think sacking the manager will really do anything because I don't think anybody would come in and make this situation any better.
