Why did Mourinho change three defenders? And why did he buy Bailly and Lindelof if they're so bollocks? And why put Herrera in defence? He was so far out of line and played Tottenham onside leading to the second goal. And why wasn't he in for Maguire a year ago?
I think we played well tbh .. but defensively we were a disaster ... AGAIN Spurs was better organised than us and unlike us took their chances Jose need to go ..he lost the dressing room ..his style is boring and not even getting points out of it too Jones was awful today
That man was always going to do this to United. He represents everything I hate about PL football, always has done. My Giggs call a few years ago doesn’t seem so daft now (I know he banged his brother’s missus).
I did think he’d buy his way to one league title but he managed to alienate this squad quicker than he usually does.
Me too. I thought him or Pep would win the title in 16/17. Both managers were disappointing, but Pep’s genius came through the following season
I reckon he’s robbed Spurly of some gear. Can be the only logical explanation for that post. Absolute gold though.
United will still probably end up ahead of both of us! Any news on new Lane? Looking forward to checking it out
Nothing yet. Club still ain’t really communicating with fans so no one knows how long we’ll be at Wembley for. Shambles really. Part of me would just rather stay at Wembley and move in for the 19/20 season. Think it could be too problematic if we switched midway into a season, could potentially disrupt any rhythm we may build.
No idea why he bought them, he must have seen something. For a season at least Bailly was decent but Lindelof is patently not of the required standard. Maybe he thought he'd have the mental strength to handle moving to United and was wrong? The reason he changed three is that they were dog **** versus Brighton and so he dropped them. He's also showing to Woodward that he needed at least one centre half and wasn't supported. Significantly, the best defender on the pitch is one who allegedly was keen to join us but Woodward didn't bother bidding for, Mourinho is making his point. Getting his reason for jacking it all in nice and early. As for Maguire, hindsight is marvelous. Did you think he would be a star man at the World Cup when he was playing for Hull? Probably not, eh? It's been obvious, to me at least , that the way United play and the negativity we display is because no one trusts the centre halves. As a result, the defense appears 'the best' in the league, goals conceded wise, whereas in actual fact it's because the whole team isn't bothering to attack as they are scared what will happen behind them if they do. It's ****ing obvious. Why it hasn't been addressed is anyone guess? I said on another thread, we've no strategy whatsoever when it comes to player recruitment. We chuck £500k a week at a player we did not need instead of spending good money on a ready made finished article centre half who will free up our attack. We're a joke and it gets on my tits.
