As I stated to Mindy, the sanctions were imposed AFTER the failure of the Venezuelan government to implement the economic policies necessary to stabilise the economy.

I know blaming America is the easy get out for socialists the world over but the economy in Venezuela started to collapse because of the actions of Maduro and his corrupt Government.

I think you need to study a bit of the history of US involvement in South American politics before you make statements like that.

I don’t have time to school you now, but various US administrations plus the CIA, have a long history of destabilising left wing governments while propping up right wing ones all over Central and South America.

The people living in Venezuela are certainly not enjoying their socialist utopia and anyone that challenges the ruling party gets locked up which is pretty standard with communism.
