    On newcastle fans "It was never meant to affect them" then pray tell me, why did you appear on the tv channel of the team we just sold our best striker to? You are our team captain, not theirs so it should never have happened in the first place. WE are a great club too. Perhaps you should remind us you think that.

    I know Nolan is a Liverpool supporter, but I think he made a serious tactical mistake going on Liverpool TV and saying he was glad for Carroll etc. That will really stick in the craw of Newcastle supporters. He should have known better.

    On Tuesday i sent an email to the club asking if they had given permission for the interview and if so why they allowed it. As yet not had a reply but maybe words have been spoken internally! If i get a reply i will post it here.

    If I played for Liverpool as a Geordie and one of Liverpools best players was just sold to Newcastle, I'd be happy to talk to them.

    I think alot of people are taking this to seriously/reading to much into it.
