Yup, english is not my strong point. What I meant is that he's always had top performances in him, but mismanaged by being overplayed +/or being in & out of the team too frequently. Kids should get a run in the team, then get pulled BEFORE mental fatigue kicks in. An experienced manager will notice this. The fact that all his other managers failed to speaks volumes about them, not him. Ever single kid that's come through in the last few years has gone down the same route. The biggest culprit was Redders, who should have known better, imo, given his development responsibilities. I said at the time & honestly believe to this day that if Mowatt & Cook had been played 60 mins / 30 mins in alternating batches of matches, then Mowatt may have made it. We destroyed him.
That would be a shame, Aylings wasted anywhere but the wingback. No idea if the other guy is any better though to be fair.

Good points but but mowatt was a touch too slow in the legs and a little lazy.Alioski has surprised me though .man management at its best.i think because he relays via his coaches it makes bielsa more respectfull from the players viewpoint.he is the man in charge and they trust him.is this our season i rather think it is im sold on him.
Joking aside I agree we need to start raising the bar, however much we rate them the sad fact is some of the current squad won’t be quite good enough when we get to the prem. and we need to start thinking we might get there, even if it is counting chickens like crazy

The U23s team looks interesting as we have a front 3 of Dalby, Clarke and Edmondson who are all pushing for a first team. No Tyler Roberts so has he made the team tomoz? Also the brilliant Aapo Halme is on the bench so looks like hes fit at long last. He could be the reason we havent brought in a new CB, because hes supposed to be brilliant and Orta had planned for him to be in the first team squad this season, but hasnt played for the 23s yet as injured when he arrived
