yep, it does look that way …. every season since 2007/ 2008 I have done a league prediction [ last couple seasons so have a few who have joined in]. there is a trend, well a couple really … at least 1 - 2 teams expected to be top 4- 6 ends up in bottom 8 indeed often bottom 4. and vice versa a couple lowly predicted teams finish top 8. or you get a team that does well for 2 seasons finishing near top then fighting off relegation for a couple again vice versa … last season promoted / relegation teams Sheff u Millwall surprised Bolton just survived.. SUNDERLAND sunk, Hull bottom 7 and Midds scraped into playoff's … early " newbie " candidates this year …. Blackburn Wigan Rotherham … Black burn unbeaten, 5th, other 2 = 6 pts or more Swansea, WBA, Stoke ….. none set the league on fire .. yet! Stoke "struggling" other 2 mid table PNE and IPSWICH, over the past few seasons are "2 doing well teams then poorly", this season both in bottom 6 to date …. I bet the Ipswich .. mick McCarthy haters had kept their gobs shut! Alex Neil took over from Grayson, gone to pot since, [ Grayson ] last season with his inherited squad did well finished 7th, previously [Grayson promoted 11th and 11th ]
