The basic fact that they are taught That if you can't see it you can't give it I suspect the 4th official had a better view not
I call bullshit. Somebody is **** stirring. Rafa said Lascelles should be okay for the next game and Shelvey would be out for at least a couple of weeks. Doesn't sound like he's benched them.
Yes but its expectations. I cant watch my team spend **** all in the two seasons since they were promoted and bemoan bad football, it's not about opinion it's about capability. Not a chance is there a team in that lot that could have played attacking football against that team. Add to that our 3 best players are missing. I understand your ire but it should be solely focused on the regime not the manager or team
If that went to VAR the ref would still give it I reckon. It was a bit marginal and I think harsh on us but it wasn't a full on clanger and they back themselves if it is not clear.
Just checking in. Who's scored more goals this season so far, Joselu or Mitro? Whos played more minutes? 5 mill and 20 mill
As you said even if it's not clear they cannot give it they have to be 100% certain I loved the way that the ref played advantage to Diame as he was lying on the floor
Mitro has scored 15 goals in 21 starts for Fulham since February,no other player in top 4 divisions has scored more, still crap though.
Anybody saying we played badly is just plain wrong. Cardiff was a bad performance - lack of effort, unorganised, quality below par. There was a game plan today and it was executed pretty well. Sorry for all moaning minnies who just want to watch sexy football but Rafa is trying to keep the club up and his approach worked just fine last season. For people to suggest we didn't attack or try to go forward is ridiculous, we just didn't retain possession well when we had it, although Chelsea had a big role in that too. Rafa has had to build a team to be hardworking and organised, and possibly set up defensively at times, because the owner is a greedy bastard who just stripped £20m of value out of the squad and refused to give the manager any transfer budget whatsoever this summer. Anyway, I think the new 4 players were a positive. Ki looks like he may be decent on set pieces - free kick at the end was the wrong angle to try and curl it in but the corners and free kick in the first half were put into dangerous areas so he could turn out to be a step up in that regard. Rondon's hold up play looked good in the first half. The 2 new CBs didn't disgrace themselves although I think Schar is going to take a bit of time to settle in.
The same tactics were employed against man city last year with the same result whilst other teams were letting in 4 and 5 goals at a time It was goal difference which got us up 3 places to 10th
After zero games would be the right approach if you are going to try and have a good goal difference. That is if you are playing one of the teams who go around walloping relegation fodder by 5 or 6 every week and that's where it's going to make the biggest difference.
That's probably why I'm not a manager,I would have been more worried about Spurs than Chelsea and start thinking about GD in January.
