Piss poor ref yet again shafting us last season disallowing Gayles goal for offside when he wasn't this time rewarding the cheating diving bastards with a pen that never was and Hazard needs to see a Doctor as he has a balance problem and always falls down
Yeah we did we couldve won today were unlucky possesion is irrelevant Look why dont you get your coaching badges and show one of the best managers in the world how its done.
We have players who should be capable of passing the ball five yards to each other and taking teams on. Benitez has got them believing they are so ****e that they can't even take on the talents of Cardiff and have to resort to this depressing garbage. If you can stomach this absolute **** for a lot more games this season, good on you, you're a better man than me.
A classic fan forum bullshit argument. You can name on one hand managers that have come into the game with no previous experience of playing. The very same thickies we all mock are the same ones we hope will be The next genius to save our team. The world of football is an inbred club, as well you know. Social media tells you the score here, and it's not the "fantastic defensive effort boys" crap you're peddling. The way we play has ramifications beyond staying in the league. It effects fan attendance, Newcastle as a city, and it impacts the global commerciality of the club. Playing as **** as we have in our last 2 matches on a cosistent basis is as criminal as the lack of investment in various transfer windows. If Rafa isn't happy with the quality of the players to at least give a game at home a go, he should walk if he has any integrity. He clearly does not.
Diame accidentally stamped on him, Ritchie not so accidentally raked his heels, Diame flat out crushed him into another player, and together with numerous attempted kicks and hacks it made me think we were watching some form of corporal punishment in the third world. Hazard did well to make it through the game.
To compare it's abit like watching a championship/League 1 team play a prem team in 1998. Whats more laughable is there is champ teams that spent more than we did this summer. Their keeper cost more than our team Benitez had his team doing this last season and kept us up so it figures for me. I'll be patient. The level of frustration I feel for the mistakes of the Ashley regime is equal to the sympathy I feel for the team and manager having to suffer from it. We were missing our best two players, got close to a draw, got a -1 on the goal difference. Its enough.
It's a really cold and joyless way of looking at football. I can't say watching Newcastle attack a couple of times in 90 minutes, and defend for every single second of the rest of the match would come under my interpretation of good enough, whatever division the club was in. I also suspect if you added up how much Rafa has spent on this team, and how much Wolves or Fulham have spent on the team they have now, it would not be too dissimilar, albeit they did it in one go. Rafa has spent money, and he's made some errors, and I think Mitrovic is proving to be one.
Both Lascelles and Shelvey looked glum watching on. I think It's easy to make rumours stick when a club is doing really poorly, but I could certainly believe there is some unease in the dressing room, there has to be. You can't have a manager basically telling his squad they are ****, setting up tactics as if they were the worst footballers in the world, and everyone be happy. Doesn't happen.
Training ground bust up,in papers allegedly over tactics, nothing wrong with either last week, the yearly soap opera begins
The issue for me is Rafa is used to managing to get a result, but in his glamour jobs he had players who could really play who then make his tactics bearable. Without any stellar players it’s just entirely negative. He even said “if I had Hazard I could just get the ball to him”. I am fairly sick of it. The politics, the tactics. Yes mike is ultimately to blame but I just cannot be arsed with rafas ideas. Yes they’re not world beaters but they are profession footballers and can do more than stand in rows. Atmosphere was dead, but there’s nothing to get excited about. I’m going to say it - we need a change in the managers seat. Rafa said six players were out. Kenedy - who should’ve been dropped after the Cardiff debacle anyway - Lascelles and Shelvey. I think he’s full of crap; a full strength team would’ve played the same.
According to the BBC we have a German centre forward with the name of Joselu Where do they get their info from Salamon Rondon, making his first start since arriving from West Brom, headed wide in the first half, their only clear chance before Joselu's equaliser. The German's goal caused controversy, with Chelsea substitute Olivier Giroud claiming he was elbowed off the ball by Yedlin in the build-up. It did not matter as Yedlin's own goal sent Newcastle to their second defeat of the season.
No idea, that’s what Benitez said. Unless he’s including Manquillo and Eliot?! It’s just broken. Yes we need a better owner but I don’t know that’s ever going to happen. The vitriol that Rafa helps stir up just isn’t worth it anymore. Newcastle United is just a broken thing, it’s not working and never will. It’s all just so....pointless. Not a knee jerk, we would more or less never beat a Chelsea in modern premier league football. But losing and them breaking a passing record? 20% possession at home? Sourness claims it’s a “message” to Mike. I’d rather Rafa sent a “message” to the fans by trying to entertain and win a match, or send a “message” to the world that he can coach lesser players and make them better. Yes, mike continues to be the main protagonist in this farce but Rafa continues to do nobody any favours - including the fans he professes to respect. It’s all got so pissy and petty that it’s not worth it anymore.
How the Fook could the ref give a pen when his view was obscured and when the tackle was good? Where is VAR when you need it?
He said 5 were out in the post match interview. They would be Lascelles, Shelvey, Manquillo, Lejuene and Kenedy. One, two, three, four, and yes that makes five.
