    disagree re Hugo being dropped.
He should be fined, lose the captaincy, do restorative work in the communuty etc but I do not think he should be dropped. I think that punishes people other than him (the team mates, manager and fans).

Will his mind be 100% on the game though?

More than happy for Toby to play but disagree a spell on the bench would be good for Sanchez. It's the last thing he needs for his progression.

Think a lot will come down to Hugo's mental state. His reputation has taken a massive hit and I imagine if he does start on Monday, Old Trafford will (rightly) boo and do their best to make him uncomfortable, that could either result in Hugo lacking in concentration or equally it could also make him more determined to begin to rebuild his reputation with a good performance. Big call for Poch that's for sure.

He never comes across as confident to me. I mean he usually saves his best brain farts for the big games. That shows that pressure can get to him...then again he's captain of Spurs and France...he must have something about him...I suspect it's his calm demeanour

Yup. I think maybe Poch sees Hugo as a sort of Ledley-esque type, in that he's immensely respected and even though he doesn't seem to be a guy who'll say much, when he does speak, people will listen. Difference though with him and Ledley was that Ledley did somehow manage to lead on the field, despite barely shouting a thing. It's like his presence alone just made everyone up their game.

Could you imagine he makes a mistake on Monday. For me I think Poch won’t take the risk and will give Vorm or Gazza the nod instead.

The media and fans are on United`s back, Mourinho is being slated from every angle and their players have been accused of a lack of effort and a poor attitude. All this points to a United win, and probably in Spursy circumstances unfortunately. Sadly, I can see United coming out to prove a point and turning us over, I hope I am wrong but we`ve seen it all before.

Like a few other people you are suggesting that all Utd need to do is to really turn up. I would say man for man that we are better. As a team there is little doubt in my opinion. They have the advantage of Old Trafford but i would say if both teams are at their best we would win 8 times out of 10. They could turn us over but it is not the most likely outcome.

They usually beat us at OT though. I think that’s the point he’s trying to make.

Even though it’s only the third game of the season, this is a must win for Utd and Jose knows he needs a big result to silence the critics.

I don’t think we will get thrashed but I think it will be a scrappy narrow Man Utd win unless we can get the first goal.

This could come back and bite me in the backside, but I think folks need to look at the teams we both had the last times we beat Man U at their ground.

    We are arguably stronger now.

Not sure if the same can be said for Man U.

If we tighten at the back with our solid three, I think we have a chance to at least secure a point. For some reason I'd like Rose to play. Let's hope it doesn't go tits up too early. (Or too late!)

Just a reminder, if we win this by five goals we'll top the table...and we won't see Diego on our board for a few months

We don't get many breaks at Old Trafford for some reason.I believe if we were winning 3-0 an earthquake would happen!!!!?

Think we will go with the same as the Fulham game. No need to change. Don't imagine that Poch has even considered dropping Hugo - a stupid thing he did, but not to the detriment of the team dynamic.
