Race should be good as Ferrari once again conspired to shoot themselves in the foot during qualifying, and their car is faster than the Merc here. Just. Charles had brake issues in qualifying so should come up through the field a bit too. Plus, being Spa, who knows what the weather will do.
I might just try and avoid this thread and then catch the highlights on Sky/4 later on. I mean, it's Spa ffs
My favourite Spa moment is this, particularly with the context of what had gone on the lap before with Schumacher trying to stick him on the grass at 200mph (as shown in this clip). You’ll notice from the onboard he takes Eau Rouge flat second time round, which back then took balls of steel in a big way.
Just edited the post, as you can see on the in-car that Mika takes Eau Rouge flat on the second time around, which in race setup, in the damp back then took serious spuds!
You’re not missing too much now. Main interest will be how far Bottas can get, barring anything too surprising happening.
