Evening all. It's cloudy and breezy here. There may be more rain later - we had some overnight, a short downpour just before lunch and the odd short shower this afternoon.
Morning all, overcast and much cooler today, with the forecast of some showers, although the cloud looks too high for that at present. Granddaughters 15th birthday coming up shortly, so off to find her a present or two. No Watford game to rush back for, so a leisurely lunch can be taken while we are out.
Morning all, it's bright here. There is some cloud, some tinged with grey, so we get showers later but nothing like the 10 minute downpour we had shortly before lunch yesterday. I'm looking at going to the game at Newcastle at the beginning of November as I'm over for 2 weeks visiting family and as I'm travelling to and from the island on Saturdays, it's the only option available to go to a match as it's the middle weekend. I believe the person to contact for help with getting a ticket is Dave Messenger, but can any of you provide contact details? I can't be bothered to scroll back through here to find them. Also, will he help with match ticket only or does he also help if you want to go on a coach? I would appreciate a PM also letting me know what sort of info he would need from me, but when someone does, please can that person state on here that they have done so to avoid me getting several unnecessary PMs?
l'll be back from Spain for that one but my toon mate will get the tickets. Sadly means I'll again be a blip of yellow in a black and white sea. But as they put away fans in the gods that's not such a great option either. But the toons are always friendly. Hope you make it Barry

Canary Dave this looks like a tough one but if the canaries can play like they did in the last 15 mins against preston, for 90 mins can´t see a problem. I see their skipper is out - every little helps C'mon u' singin' Canaries
Sorry Dave that didn't quite go as planned. But Leeds look a very good team and it is still early days Here it has turned into a bit of a scorcher. Very light breeze and 30+C. But tomorrow I hope to see the 'orns on TV in the bar as there are no matches to compete with us. La Liga games are in the evening. And the beer will be very cold. Only decision now is whether to hop up to the bar, test that the beer really is cold, and watch Cadiz away to Numancia (yup I had to look it up Half way between Madrid and Barritz, in Soria). They play at the stadium of little birds. The canaries might like that. Maybe a pre-season friendly? Well until tomorrow
I'm back in Murcia in a couple of weeks, hopefully it cools down a bit. We wanted cooler weather here but now I'm not so sure, I want the summer to go on. 28 -30 degrees is ok.
just booked flight for my old man to come over for 3 weeks. made up. we've had our blows and years without speaking. so today is a good day. (Until I have to deal with the animal for 3 weeks!!!) ahahhaha Have a good un one and all.

Morning all, a clear blue sky, but it must have been rather chilly overnight as there is a lot of dew on the grass. Need to scurry around and get bits and pieces done before the match. 2.30 pm on a Sunday afternoon seems strange, but there should be plenty of streams about if I can keep this computer running.
Morning all. Generally overcast but not cold. Sunshine and showers forecast for this morning, but so far haven't seen either. Will take this computer along to the repair man to get him to sort the problems, but being a Monday he might not open. It has been normal here for the smaller shops to work all day Saturday, but take Sunday and Monday off. That seems fine unless you don't actually know if they are open on a Monday.
