Enjoy yourself - hopefully, we will have 11 points in the bag when you depart. The only downer with us having 11 points, is that the Coracle would be the only one of us to forecast exactly that return from the first 5 games..... He will never let us forget it!
Have you tasted the traditional Greek wine Retsina yet? It's an acquired taste, I'm hooked on the stuff................
Just who said this in todays programme "We may add a couple of loan players before next Friday’s transfer deadline, while we have a further opportunity to change things around once more in January to add the final touches to the squad and give ourselves a fighting chance to compete and get stronger as the season unfolds."
I can hazard a guess. Has he/she got a big nose? Conveniently fails to say that we may also lose a couple of players …...
Club has officially announced the loan of Carter Vickers who was in the box today. Photo taken after the game it seems ...hence the joyous look! 'Cameron relishing Swans challenge' https://www.swanseacity.com/news/cameron-relishing-swans-challenge Despite the hype, Rodon is getting exposed. Interesting to see if v Millwall he drops Joe or goes 3 at the back? I think Joe gets/needs a break (but will then get called up to the Welsh squad). The reality is, the midfield is lightweight and Celina is NOT a holding player. We will rue the loss of Woods to Stoke (can anyone fathom how we sold them Clucas so we can buy Woods, then they beat us to Woods?)
Sky pssh https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45297416 Swansea failed to match the Bees' valuation for Woods, thought to be £6-7m, before the transfer window shut. Exactly the same as when we list out to Joe pre Euro 2016. The player wanted, we didnt offer enough (yet went back for him off Stoke months later for twice our original offer) Fool me once, as the saying goes. F@ck the biard and f@ck Huw Jenkins
On official Stoke website now as well. Another complete balls up by our recruitment team. Why couldn't we have signed him on loan until January with a view to buy.
Huw didnt do his homework. He thinks he is big balls Prem chairman who mixes with the likes of Levi. Truth is, Huw gets screwed by Levi and didnt check, that Brentfords owners MO is to set a realistic price and NOT budge and include sell ons. Even I learned that from reading the Griffin Park Forum and from seeing they got 40% of Barnsleys cut of our sale of Mawson. I also managed to understand that being from Cannock, Staffs and his Mrs having a miscarriage last season, he wanted to move closer to home. That he was wanting to come here speaks volumes for the fella and his desire to join. Huw faltered/balked and allowed a club that is only 30mins drive from his home to come sniffing and pay just what Brentford wanted. He took his eye off the ball and has no real other irons in the fire re midfield. It is just thus which will ruin any chance of being competitive this season. Simple.
They are into low risk max return investment, so have sorted out their shareholders first, and will continue to do so. And Huw/Morgans et al put us here. The club is no better off than before the sale. They however....
Jenkins has obviously got to fall in with his paymasters. He probably has no say & they probably go through Pearlman??.. He & the rest of the sell-outs have totally fvcked it all up..
