Wolves played the right way against City. Tried to go at them...had the chances to double up when City were looking for the equaliser and were leaving gaps. Liverpool with their better quality punished City I think there's a few teams at the top with enough quality to humble City. Spurs could learn a thing or two from that mentality when we come up against City because I think their weak point is their defence..get them on on the back foot...and take your chances, which happens to be our weak point imho
Jose only did a 4 min press conference yesterday. Reason being that he started the thing 30 mins EARLY. He did not want to face the hacks, did he. Oh well, Wolves have spared him the pressure being cranked up even more before monday.
This is the second game I have watched today where defence seems to be an option that the teams have declined. Arsenal v West Ham.
I'm hoping that Spurs supporting aliens to appear and destroy the stadium and everyone inside it. That or an earthquake that swallows up the place. After that, probably I'd go for the draw. I'd struggle to cheer on either, even if you strapped electrodes to me.
The Spanners 'play our hearts out for 90 mins' criteria : 1. Losing the game means relegation 2. The opponent is wearing white shirts and navy blue shorts
Looks like we're just outside the european placings with a game in hand. Too early? Also the first time since the season started that we can say if we win all our remaining games we'll win the league.
Brighton have been pissing about with the ball in their defence and Liverpool have finally made them pay for it. Totally stupid, unnecessary and completely predictable.
The Sunday Times are reporting that Chelsea are up for sale at an asking price of £2 billion. That's a pretty hefty asking price for a club with the need for a new stadium. Chelsea are currently artificially funded by Abramovic loaning the club about £50m a season and loaning out about 50 players throughout Europe for significant loan fees. Given that UEFA intend to limit such loans to a maximum of 10 per club, that's going to cut down their current finance options considerably. So, the new owner would need to pay off £1.2 billion in loans and spend £1 billion+ on a new stadium. If that comes on top of the asking price, I'd be amazed. The whole Chelsea Empire is so dodgy that it's hard to see any reputable business getting involved in a purchase based even loosely on the asking price, even if the loan was to be repaid. Recently, I found out that their credit insurance limit is less than £500. By contrast, Arsenal's is over £47 million. Basically, they have to pay cash for everything because the whole thing is so dodgy and riddled with debt that nobody Kosher trusts them with a red cent. Anyone who buys them is either dodgy as hell or paying **** all for it.
