The question no-one knows the answer to is how many fans have given up on Charlton and found other things to do, and how many are boycotting. I guess Roland has driven attendances down by 6/7,000, and if just 1,000 of those came to the protest it would be very good, but it may well be that apathy will win the day, as it has done increasingly over the last 4 years.

We need 1,000 at the demo tomorrow IMO, to have an impact.

Rubashow & Keohane will be feeding back to Belgium HQ.

That would be good. It might be an indicator of how many stay-away fans will return with a change of ownership. The pro-Roland fans can rage at the protestors for all they're worth, but they can't argue with the attendance figures.

Tony Keohane is on holiday at the moment according to Rick Everitt.

Fair enough - he has as much right to a holiday as anybody else. But some might say the first few weeks of a very difficult new season might not be the very best time for Charlton's Chief Operating Officer (the most senior executive at the Club outside the board room as far as I am aware) to be sunning himself on a beach somewhere.

He's had most of May and all of June and July - when very little was actually happening in SE7 - to top up his tan.

So right now as far as I know Richard Murray is the only recognised senior figure present at the Club.
Chris Parkes hardly counts, and I can't think of anybody else apart from football coaches such as Steve Avory. Bear in mind even our first team manager is still technically only a caretaker.

Something for the EFL to ponder on when their delegation arrives at the Valley and is greeted by a car park attendant, security guard or whoever else is holding the fort that day. Do you think they might begin to wonder if something is actually not quite right?

Squirrel face went on holiday at least once during the season.

The whole situation has been a nonsense from day one with these c****!

Just leaving, having made tonight's curry. The crisps may seem like a silly gimmick, but I suppose the idea is to get publicity. Looking forward to the actual protest, here's hoping for a good turnout.

The crisps are Tesco’s home brand.

Instructions to chuck them on the pitch at kick off

    @lardiman will be fuming <laugh>

Around 400 at the demo at 2.15.

A couple of chants, and a guy on a megaphone saying we had to do this for the cheated staff.

Verbal slagining matches ensued with a couple of fans inside the ground, and from where I was standing, more than crisps were thrown.

Sad times - Charlton fans turning on other Charlton fans at our own ground.

I could not make out a word of what the B20 bloke was saying. He had a dampening effect on the demo. The low turnout was only to be expected, given the number of potential protesters who are boycotting, or have been overcome by apathy.

Had a good chat about you earlier at the demo with a CL poster. He seemed to think we were mates, I quickly corrected him <laugh>
