Agent speak, truth but not complete:
    • fast across the ground - the car park on the way home
    • competitive - trump cards, just pick the "salary" figure
    • and with great passing ability - yep, it passed a few years ago and never came back

Don't tell me that Mowbray signed him based on clips of him at Sunderland, was it just his header against United replayed over and over from different angles?

He was like a shadow for us, I said at the time he was getting games for us way before any controversy arose that the best he could manage was a 6/10. I'd guess that initially he'll try his absolute best at Blackburn and might impress a few but it won't last.

Rodwell's agent really earned his cut this time round.

    Sort of agree with him

After the shower of **** we've had the last few seasons, the fact that we are winning games and the positive atmosphere has me enjoying watching the lads again despite being in league one.

Sorry Dan, I really don't understand that line of thinking at all. Its just beyond me.

To be relegated down to a level where we can finally win a game and be happy with that is just beyond me.

When I go to work I try to perform to the best I can. I'm sure you do as well but it pisses me off when I see others bobbing along doing the bare minimum, watching the clock and running out the door at precisely the time their contract dictates, whether the job is done or not. It's got me into trouble by saying that openly to peoples faces a few times.

That's what our club have been doing to 30 to 40 thousand spectators for 5 or 6 years now, while players have earned lottery salaries, that have ended in redundancies of others on the fraction of their wages, and watched by hard working class guys on a fraction of the wages of these prima donnas.

Now we're down 2 leagues and we've found some teams we can beat.

    Well whoopy ****ing do!

Whoa, went off on one there. Not aimed at you Dan! <ok>

    The
THe thing is, I wasn't enjoying the football at the higher levels because of everything that was going on.

After all the **** we've put up with (Short, Moyes, Rodwell, De Fanti...to name a few), crap football etc it's just nice to be able to enjoy things again

That doesn't mean that I'll be happy with us been in league one for the next 2 seasons. And it doesn't mean that I wouldn't be even happier if we were doing the same in the Championship. But I'll take the positives right now, and just bloody enjoy it.

We need to Foster a winning mentality at the club, and if we need to start at league one to do it, then so be it

Yeh, I see that too. Its just a damning indictment of the last regime to be where we are now.

Its like we've lost the last 30 years.

I agree but that is the past now and things are looking up and it is important for everybody at the club to buy into the positive vibe the new owners have bought. Cats comments are really him saying he has bought into the new ways and he is enjoying his football again. While I have been critical of him over the last two seasons he has also had good times before that, if he is happy and up for it we might see that old Cats back and that would be a big plus for the team.
