I think from my findings that Brits will venture out alone and find their own standings in countries (obviously not all), but Russians tend to keep with their own kind and dominate with numbers and communities. They kinda tend not to mix.
Very territorial, it's in their upbringing. The sad thing is when they do venture on holiday or wherever and numbers follow, they have this idealism of owing the place.. The Jocks can be like that too..

It was a shock, I was away at the time. I'm meeting up with some off the Sunderland board and some of Syd's site next week before the match to have a drink for him. Me and that lad had some good times. He drank like a tart but I loved him, he was a softie really.
I think his liver had had enough, I bet he knocked them back when he was younger.. He has taken a hell of a story to the grave, he saw and experienced in life that many could never contemplate.. We were good mates. Like you say he had many a story and seen a load off bad ****. Would actually be good to meet for a pint, put faces to people after all these years.
German is more practical. The written and the spoken match better. French the written language is almost completely different than is spoken. Your average 12 letter word has two syllables. German is much more practical than French. We really did them a disservice by liberating them.
It was handy having them on our side in 1941, for sure. The French, not so much .., The French are much better cooks though; and a French accent on a woman - ohh la la... Word of advice to the OP - have a go at speaking their language you ****ing pleb - just a few words will go down a treat; Johnny Frog does not like being shouted at slowly in English.
Got to agree French women speaking English is incredibly sexy. If you ever meet one ask her to say the following two words: Hydrocarbons and n-hexane. I fell in love at a conference when a female French scientist came out with those: Idrocarbon - with emphasis on last o Hen- eggzane

I noticed they weren't particularly friendly. In fact they were a bit odd. Me and a few friends went to Berlin a couple of years ago and we went on alcohol tour thing and there were several nationalities there. US - mixture of odd and really friendly, good people. Usually my experience with them. Either really good people or they've never seen daylight before. French - okay. Not unfriendly but not very interesting. German - great fun. French Canadian. Just a bit odd. Hard to put your finger on it. Although my mate did ironically.
