This really hasn’t been thought through very well by the Brexidiots.

    -

In the event of a no deal Brexit, some Brexiteers argue the UK could unilaterally lower its tariffs to the EU to zero so its exports remain competitive.

But World Trade Organisation boss Roberto Azevedo says while this is technically possible, under WTO rules the UK would have lower tariffs to everyone, not just the EU.

"You cannot pick and choose to whom you lower your tariffs if you decide that a particular product, let's say glasses, goes down to zero. Any member of the WTO can do that, but that zero applies to everyone else."

@DMD you don’t seem to read your own links or have no understanding of betting, as that article you posted is absolute nonsense.

I’d reply on the thread but I got banned for not breaking the rules during your meltdown weekend.

    Cheers,
    WWR

The night of the referendum result lol. I was actually in Waterford, which is somewhat ironic as it’s one of the original trading posts of Europe.

I checked my phone just after 10 in the hotel bar, and saw that Farage had admitted defeat. So I ordered a bottle of decent champagne to take back to the room and watch as the results confirmed the Remain victory. Little did I know that Farage was engaged in the biggest short on our currency in history....

So my posts reflected my frustration, a snapshot in time love. Unfortunately things aren’t quite that straightforward and I had to accept that it’d take longer than I’d have chosen it to.

However, if anything my desire to live full time outside of the U.K. is now stronger than it was then, as the entire Brexit debacle has lifted the sewer lid on this country and exposed a pretty disgusting reality that I never thought I’d see here. From the rise of the far right bigots, to the complete disintegration of our political integrity.

His father co wrote a book called The Sovereign Individual. It gives an insight into the influences that drive the mindset of Mr Mogg. Truly frightening.

Latest estimate on the effect of no deal on sterling. Needless to say, inflation would skyrocket in such a scenarios.

Sharma and the Bank of America team forecast the Pound will fall to 1.10 against the US Dollar if the UK leaves the EU without a withdrawal agreement. They predict a Pound-to-Euro rate of 0.9565 in such a scenario.

Since his election in November 2016, Trump’s campaign chairman, his deputy campaign manager, his national security adviser, his personal lawyer and a foreign policy aide have all admitted crimes or been convicted as a result of special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Only a complete ****** would back this ****.

The problem with Rees-Mogg is that people actually believe him.
He's not a moron. He knows exactly what he's doing. He couldn't give a **** about anyone but himself.
Hiding behind Christianity is particularly laughable, in his case. He'd deport Jesus and put the disciples in a workhouse.

He’s really not that clever. Maybe the thick and the arch Brexiteers are taken in, but most of his arguments are either simplistic and easy to deconstruct, or they’re just plain wrong - as Soames says.
