There are already a million new 606 copycat sites in the last couple of weeks. This place has been going in one form or another for over 2 years. Think it'll survive the 606 fallout too.
No bother. He's deleting mine too. We've got 5000 members, Mick should just put a post on every board asking fans to recruit themselves if they want this place to thrive. If everyone weeds out the fannies by self-moderation then it won't turn into 606. Generally this place has been alright for wummery over the years there are a couple of folk who blatantly do it all the time. But they're ****s.
It's a nightmare but the fact we're called Not606 will help us. Some folk moaned when Mick chose the name but it's looking a shrewd move right now. If we all do a mass, timed and staged invasion of 606 the mods will be cream-crackered. Best to do it midweek when the EPL and SPL have games on. The place will be mobbed and the mods will find it hard to stop us mass posting the web address for here.
It's fair to say that almost everyone who posts on 606 is aware of this place now. They are still there because it hasn't closed yet, what we have to do is make this board the best for the day it closes because there will be plenty of actual decent competition by then.

Sky plus em. I watched more tv than ever before after my first one, no babysitters = sitting in the house every night why the kiddies sleep.
Good point Mick never thought about it that way I spent a couple of hours on Tues Sky+ em and making sure they dont clash with each other!
I'm willing to help in any way I can. I notice the space you allow for us to describe ourselves and background is very limited. How does one add new categories. I could set up one for Show Jumping which would add a few hundred members just for one show that my wife and I run over Easter. If only I could put up the schedule, starters, results etc, photos, videos. It would be quite popular. We aren't making much impact on the horse racing forum I see. Some of them moved over to http://606-racing-refugees.socialgo.com/ a while back and that might become the default for them if we don't attract them over here.
