Since Musa, Slimani, Ulloa have all gone! Shinji was injured and has only just started his comeback training and now Vardy is suspended for 3 games.

I must admit I saw this coming a couple of weeks ago just didn't think it would be this soon incoming to fruition. Now we have just Iheanacho left as our only striker for the next 3 games, plus IMO Iheanacho has not yet filled me with confidence so far he drifts in and out too much. One game looks ok the next you wouldn't know he was even on the pitch.

However he is all we have got for 3 weeks so let’s hope he doesn't get injured? Then we will be in the Sh#t.

Gray will be the cover I imagine. As a wild card, Big Harry Maguire!? If only we had a huge German centre back who had some experience up top...

Think it will end up a bit makeshift with the likes of Gray up there. We probably didn’t sign anyone as we were focusing on the other end and needed to ship some out (Slim/Ulloa/Musa). We will probably revisit in Jan, maybe blow Sheffield Wednesday fans minds by bringing George Hirst back as a bigger striker option or a more experienced option. Newcastle got Rondon on loan, he’d have been a good option especially on loan

Yeah but no chance of him coming. I think first choice at Newcastle is a lot more appealing than third choice here

True. This is the thing, if we are playing with 1 striker, you can’t accomodate more than 2 who expect to be first choice in the squad. The best solution is to have promising youngsters who can step up. We seem to have more of these in defence. That was why I have a feeling for Hirst who seems to have impressed at every level he has played but is young enough that he won’t expect to walk into the side

In our reserves we have Josh Felix-Eppiah, Ryan Loft, Admiral Muskwe, Layton Ndukwu and Raul Uche.

Can see one of them being on the bench and maybe even starting against Fleetwood.

Iheanacho has never had a chance here as the main man. At Man City he rarely ever played with Aguero. Iheanacho was the main man more often and not and scored alot of goals

Give the lad a chance and he will score goals

In regards to him shifting in and out of games, the new method of playing does seem to isolate the lone striker, but can bring in more players when shifting into attack.

I don't expect him to score, but i want to see him controlling the ball just into their final third and laying it off. Hopefully this can create chances for others to score around him, even pulling defenders out of position to let Maddison/Gray shoot from the 18 yard line will help.

Players now seem frightened to play the counter attacking long ball from back to front which was one of our main weapons when we won the league? Both Vardy and Iheanacho have the pace to cause the opposition mega problems using the long ball.

It’s great we are getting more balls whipped into the box shame there’s no one to put their head on them…….where’s Howard or Marshall when you need them!

We have a kid called Ryan Loft who is 6"3 and a former high jumper - might be half decent.

Puel doesnt like a target man. He has got rid of Ulloa and Slimani twice!

If we need a goal we will probably end up throwing Harry Maguire up front like we used to with Matt Elliott
