Right, we’ve had Crisps, Chocolate & ****y drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic. Now it’s time for real sweets such as Cola cubes, Pineapple chunks, Humbugs, Everton mints, Sherbet pips Fruit salads and Blackjacks. My favourites as a young Ginge were Floral gums, Jelly beans & Banana & Custard chews. There are still some shops that sell these hidden gems by the quarter pound bags although the choice isn’t as great as yesteryear. Milk bottles; Didn’t we all love them?

Loved sherbert lemons but after you had sucked all the sherbert out of the middle they broke up in your mouth and it was like sucking a Stanley blade... it brought a new meaning to being "sharp"
Fruit salads are bad boy... fizzy peaches and cherries best in pick n mix. Mainly prefer soft sweets these days.
What were them lollies you got from the ice cream ***** that come in 10p mixes, they were like a pinky grey lump of cement that just crumbled when you bit into it. Maybe my brother was just being mean to me
