Kofte kebab with chips cheese and curry sauce on the side. Don’t knock the phenomenon of cheesy chips doused in curry sauce til you’ve tried it.
That’s what I have. They do a chicken tikka curry (not masala) topped with paneer cheese. The kebab shop I use is Turkish. Think they put mozzarella over the chips. Then curry sauce then more mozzarella
They do one with cheddar as well, they have some really good specials so there's always something new, it's a top takeaway which is rare around here.
I do mate. Its 5c, always. But now im also on the trucks loading the trailers where its 3c, and -19 in the frozen bit. So might need to raise the food intensity a bit.
Had lunch at a place next to Juno beach today. Was tremendous. Had a fish pate to start, ham knuckle for main and then some cheese.
The staff were nice at that one. As are the ones in the bar on Omaha beach. Which is where I’m having a pint of pelforth currently.
So the whole country not vile then, good to know! Hell of a pint Pelforth. Very nice when ice cold. Has this weather missed Normandy? It's mid October here.
Was nice yesterday. Today been windy and overcast. If it’s like this tomoro I shall be vomiting in the boat coming back.
Went on a school trip to Normandy when I was 16. One of my mates took a dare to drink 24 stubby bottles of cheap French lager during the boat crossing home. He managed to drain the 24 bottles pretty quickly and then puked for hours.
