Yep, makes it really difficult for clubs to make that step up to the premier league. Much more money from TV and sponsorship should filter down to the lower leagues. Premier league is almost like another sport at times.
We’ve got Wigan at home on Saturday and they’ve just gone and raped Stoke a new hole so I think we can assume QPR will roll over for them. Then Bristol Rovers in the cup. Lose them both and I think they’ll bite the bullet. We’ve actually played ok and even well in the first half of every game and five times in a row it’s been followed by an atrocious second half. Five consecutive motivational halftime chats- Stevie Mac.
I can't believe how some of your boys were optimistic about schteve. He's been bad more than good his whole career and in recent times hes been terrible with or without money. He especially has been terrible at turning results around when he's in a slump
I'll never forget that day at Boro where having almost got them relegated, a disgruntled fan broke out of the stands, marched down the touchline and threw his season ticket at McClaren in disgust. A few months later he was England manager
I can still see the pic from The Sun with him standing there in the pissing rain as England ran around clueless. And the headline will haunt him forever.
To answer my own question, I've just received an email from the club to say that it does and they're sending them out soon. Ridiculously late, really.
This one's at OT. Expect Spurs to have moved to Walthamstow Rec by the time the return fixture happens
