Piccadilly I think. The clue is in the colour of the fixtures (the vertical hand hold bars). They usually match the colour of the line on the tube map.
I will forego Welling versus Hemel Hempstead this Saturday and join in the protest, without the need for Card.
Looks like Everitt has been stirring it with the sponsors (Greenwich Council) today. Needs to be careful, he’s long on words but short on judgement. The fans movement would be so much better off if he went away.
RE was on the telly, BBC London News. Standing up for staff who can't speak up for themselves. I don't mind a big demo on Saturday, but I still don't want staff members risking their jobs with industrial action if they don't want to. They have told RD they will continue to meet their obligations while they consider what to do next. I think a work-to-rule would not be going too far, and that tactic can have serious effects if staff are doing a lot of additional work purely out of good faith until now.
Davo55 has said the time has come to get a game abandoned. 1/ That should have been done 18 months ago. 2/ With our fan base it will never happen. #protestingonlybynotattending
Ffs Mr Lardi you'll get @Royston Vasey started again. The man who has never swallowed his pride and nodded.
Davo can stick his demands up his arse. Protesting on Saturday is the right thing to do, for a number of reasons. It’s great that we will have a ‘full house’ of 606 protesters in the West Stand. #fullhouse
I'm all in favour of a big and loud demonstration, in order to let the front line staff st the Valley know that Charlton fans are on their side and are disgusted by the way Duchatelet has treated them. And I don't mind at all if the crowd chant anti-RD slogans all the way through the Fleetwood game. But match disruption is a bad idea. Throwing stuff is not right, and a pitch invasion? Let's see the people calling for that leading the charge personally. Unless they are willing to do so then their calls are empty and cowardly. Radicals and online rabble-rousers have no right to ask fans to risk lengthy bans, any more than they have a right to ask low paid staff to risk their jobs. Let's make the protest on Saturday a massive one, to send the clearest message of support for CAFC staff. But don't play into the hands of RD, EFL Jobsworths or the clucking apologists by trying to get the game called off.
@baraettmattesvensson Never mind going dogging in the woods at Arundel, put your arse to better use and get it in that car park at 2.15 on Saturday @Clb74 will escort you.
Are you willing to run onto the pitch during the game? If you are then credit to you for the strength of your resolve. But if you aren't then you cannot expect anybody else to either. And expecting CAFC staff to strike when it might cost them their jobs is hardly fair. If the Fleetwood game is disrupted by fans or by staff taking industrial action the consequences for them could be serious and permanent. The situation is deteriorating for sure, but we have not yet reached the point of no-holds-barred all-out warfare with Duchatelet. To be honest I would not be surprised if RD tries to shoot the Protest fox by getting Richard Murray to announce today or tomorrow that the bonuses will be paid after all.
Given my advanced years and dodgy knees, it will take me 5 min to get over the advertising hoardings. I’ll be right behind @baraettmattesvensson and & @AllHellLetLoose though. Someone wearing a Royston mask appeared on the pitch at the Burnley game near the Fans Sofa Honestly lardi - forget about the match on Saturday- it’s a sideshow !
No-one is expecting them to strike. Rick has advised them on their legal right to make a complaint which is nothing to do with any form of industrial action.
Everitt showing his true colours on the bonuses thread this morning. The loudmouth oik whom nobody dare disagree with. A genuine barrack room lawyer.
