It's an FFP and/or tax dodge. Moving the transfer fee to another season must benefit you in some way.
Yeah it will be something along those lines for sure but it's a tad annoying that he cant play against them. If he stays fit I think it will turn out to be a great signing.
Weve told him to play **** so it drives his price down. They rejected our first offer of £3m plus Onomah on loan. Come January, they’ll be begging us for that. Smart **** you see. Out of interest, how did Ollie Watkins play? Heard he got an assist. Big fan of his, think he’ll be in the Prem very soon, with or without Brentford.
Well done on the win I don't think any League One club is expecting to beat your lot this season. On current form Barnsley and Posh most likely to test you the most. Every league one fan knows you are going back up. Our club tweeted tonight you were the best league one side we had faced in years. We just can't compete along with many other league 1 & 2 clubs that's reality, we can only give our best.
The gulf between Championship and League One just gets greater, plus with Sunderland's fan base we can't compete financially, we know that and accept it, I for one have never pretended any differently. Well done to them, they should win the League, the only obstacle to that might be Evans at Posh.
