Ha'way!! It's 3 down and 43 to go, so setting the early pace is nice, but hardly essential. Remember that promotion season under Reidy when we were behind Millwall for ages? Then they came to Roker and we beat them 6-0! Even the last time we were in the third tier we were as low as 12th before picking it up and winning the title. Let's enjoy the renewed hope and optimism as well as the footy, as it's been a while since we can go to games thinking we'll win...

I spend a lot of time in Bas! That's where my other half is from and where she is today.

My wife has a 6 month contract down there. 5 months into it.

Makes it a long day, out the house 12-14 hours a day.

I can do it in about an hour from mine on a good day. On a weekday morning though you have to leave by about 6.30 as I'm sure you know. Stevenage junctions are the worst bit I always find.

I'm about 15 miles north of you and work in Cockfosters, 1 junction round.

Stevenage is a bloody pain in the ass!

It really needs to go to 3 lanes but it'll be years before they get around to it.

That should be an easy journey. I've been working in Enfield recently and it's fine if you miss rush hour. Try going anywhere past Stevenage in rush hour though and it's a nightmare. And so is Welwyn on the way back. Changing that junction hasn't made much difference.

Yeh. Thats why I get in early and leave early.

Welwyn's a pain in the ass as well.

    Changing that junction achieved nothing.

If you've been scuppered into having a few scoops let me know.

Sid, if you're going and up for meeting for a pre-match drink let me know.

There's a pub called the Fleur de Lis on Gillingham Rd, which is away fan friendly. A short walk from the train station then on to the away end.

There are more exotic watering holes, including the Will Adams on Skinner Street in the centre and a small micropub called Past & Present - suited to the real ale drinkers.

I'm aiming to get down there as soon as possible, so there by 6:30 latest.

Hi Nordic. I'm getting a lift from two mates who are giving me a lift. They are meeting some more of their mates in a boozer, so I'll try to find out which one. We're all in transit ATM so it's trickier than it sounds, but I'm trying...!

Every game we play to win it....however if we can't win lets get something out the game. There will be games where things go t*ts up.....so on these games get a point. Three games in six days can make things a lottery in terms of performance. The main aim is to finish in the top two by the end of the season. Long way to go this season and there will be ups and downs in terms of results.....but still fancy three tonight.....lol.

Hmmm... Norton missus in Basildon... Burly’s missus in Basildon at present... is it a small world or are they the same person??

I’m in Nottingham at the moment and the M1 is a nightmare at J26/25. Been someone killed on the northbound side. Was closed both ways when I got there so I came if at 25

Take the A606 to Stamford on the A1, A14 and M11.

Still may not get you there in time mate.

You got less than 2 hours!

    There's me jumping to conclusions!

If Norton and me are sharing the same wife, why do I get all the bills?
