So, tomorrow evening sees us face PNE managed by none other than ALEX Neil - remember he who took us to Wembley a few short years ago!!!
Whilst we have had an abysmal start to the season, they have amassed 4 points and in their last outing got a point off Stoke, one of the pre-season favourites for promotion.
DF has said he doesn't want to lose Klose and the rumour re Tavares is just a ru.mour

Just have to win. Don't care about the performance. Farke needs to learn how to win football matches.

    Just win.

I didn't know Farke was registered as a player, it is the players that need to learn how to win. Farke has improved the team and tactics this year, he's just been let down by his defenders

Farke hasn't improved the team, as we keep hearing he is just a "Head Coach", and doesn't pick transfers.

He hasn't improved the tactics either, which is his job. Tactics and results. Both have been very poor again.

That's why he just needs to win. We have had enough of the side ways and backwards pretty, but blunt passing. Learn to win ugly. Because we are going to need to pretty soon.

I would not be surprised if Farke is hanging his hat on that being the big difference that could win us a game. Lets hope it is. I have more faith in the pink paint.

My comment in #4 above was not a swipe at Farke, but I can see how could have been taken that way. I was thinking along the lines of "we need to find a way to win, hence the pink paint." I should have put a smiley at the end of it.

I know you witnessed at first hand the dire offerings that was the first 75 minutes of the game against Stevenage a week ago and that was atrocious!!!
If you care to read some of MFW articles that have been posted since the 2-1 defeat at Bramall Lane, you'll find that in general DF HAS actually 'improved tactics' (this one I feel is particularly relevant and is written by a younger person who has attended ALL our league games - http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...-city-side-off-quite-yet-give-it-time-to-gel/).

That's fine if you don't believe that tactics have actually improved and I'll happily buy you a couple of pints IF I lose our wager!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm <ale> <ale>

Quite correct DD after only 3 or 4 games. Can you repeat the process after 43 or 44 games please???

Edit - Df's 'rallying cry' to both players and fans ahead of tonight's game - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...-previews-preston-championship-test-1-5661653
I would things could become quite ugly on the terraces IF PNE were to take the lead!!! <doh>

Are you going to the game FML???

Here's the billiard table they'll be playing on tonight.
Cool that they've cut it tartan to welcome Alex Neil back! :emoticon-0112-wonde

I think if he goes with this lineup we have a chance:

    Krul
    Pinto Hanley Klose Lewis
    Godfrey Trybull
    Marshall Pukki Onel
    Rhodes

If we lose the pressure will VERY quickley mount on DF. Tettey must be dropped, Godfrey given a chance and Marshall pushed on from RB as he clearly can't play there!

Imo the lineup Iv put down above is our best... perhaps McLean instead of Trybull and pushed on into a 4-1-4-1 against weaker opposition?
