Be serious now, this is Scotland we're talking about. A six pack of Space Raiders should be enough, but if they get belligerent say a couple of packs of bacon Wheat Crunchies is our final offer
Young Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Gavin Bazuna has agreed to join Moneybags City for 400,000 Euro after he finishes school next summer . Great move for the kid, great money for a League of Ireland club but crazy money for a 16 year old goalkeeper .
I have no feel for what the norm would be for this type of transfer. €400k is so little to City that I feel they should be paying this kind of fee to little clubs like Shamrock. Some element of trickle down benefit of TV deals etc.
Apparently nobody told this kid what happened when The Sheikh Mansour Team invested in the future of Patrick Roberts. Or Scott Sinclair... Or Jack Rodwell... Or countless prospects hoovered up over the years...
I actually feel sorry for the guy. He always gave 100%. I still feel he deserves another chance, considering our lack of signings.
2 stories with Spurs elements today. Firstly, there are rumours of interest from Fenerbahce in Moussa Sissoko on a loan. It's from a Turkish source which probably means that it's complete bollocks. For my money, we'd need to be absolutely certain on the fitness of Winksy and Big Vic and that ain't the case. So, I can't see it happening. Secondly, Antony Martial is said not to be interested in a move outside of England and wants to stay at United. I'm convinced that he is MP's preferred option to back up HK and compete with Sonny for the wide left slot. This is the last year of his contract but United can extend (or may have done already) by a year. However, that will bring him within our price range. Fingers crossed we land him next season.
You'll find my answer here, lol. https://www.not606.com/threads/transfer-thread-fact-and-fiction.343033/page-419#post-12038631
Yeah I read that too. Would be pretty funny if Spurs went all transfer window without signing a player to then sign someone on a free after the deadline.
The guy is probably in "pension mode" now. At this stage in his career, I doubt coming to England for the Pochettino "project" is an easy sell even if Spurs do want him.
