And when I think to myself, I can no longer be surprised by the actions of this egotistical megalomanic, this happens. Still people stand by and say "support the club..." The only think that this guy cares about is money and his reputation. It's time just to hit him in the pocket and get mass protests back up and running.
Confirmed in an e mail this morning from Duchatelet to the staff that they will not be getting their bonuses. This is due to a "very bad financial year". RD also says that leaving staff will not be replaced, and that the high running costs of the club are putting off potential buyers. As I posted a couple of weeks again, this chimes with what I heard- further cutbacks in September.
Just had a terrible thought. Do these cutbacks and reneged bonuses mean no more freebies for the wives of Club staff?
