It's starting to look like we could be in a spot of bother and something needs to happen sooner rather than later. The only avenue looks to be by way of the loan market and there must be some young tasty treats biding their time at one of the top clubs waiting for the almost impossible chance of showing their talents. Surely they would relish the opportunity to come and show the Ashton Gate faithful what they have to offer, so perhaps it's time to call his buddy Pep or Jose up in Manchester to see what they can provide for us to get out of our quagmire.

I have never really thought that the loan route was a good way to solve your problems or build a solid squad that can hang around for a while but nevertheless I think it's an avenue we need to explore. Remember Tammy.

It depends, it's kind of a loan window but equally due to the early transfer window this year, it can be as good as permanent (if a transfer is agreed for January). We certainly need 2 or 3 players to strengthen.

    So that'll be 43 then.

No different to most of the other clubs in this division. Except that we probably have lesser resources with which to do it than a big chunk of them.

Lee and Mark certainly have a challenge to address (for which they are no doubt well paid).
Firstly you have to identify candidates (I would hope there would be a shortlist already). Then you have to approach their parent clubs. Assuming the parent club is in agreement then the player himself has to agree to come to ‘little ole Brizzle’ above whatever other offers and opportunities are out there.
It’s not as simple as Championship Manager, where you simply click ‘buy’ or ‘loan’.

Let's just hope they realise they're in a hole and have made the necessary moves to address the issues.

We barely had enough to put a team out , and fill the bench when he arrived , he had to bring in numbers.

All is forgiven we popped a 3-0 win over QPR.
