    Good Morning Everyone

After a topsy turvy first half on Saturday, Leeds took control and came away comfortable victors by two goals to nil.

The display was not as comprehensive as any of us thought it would be, and its fair to say there were periods of the game when Leeds were not playing well - but we came away with three points, and a clean sheet against a much improved Rotherham United.

    Some talking points:-

Kalvin Phillips was roasted on social media for his performance.

    Was he off par?

Cooper made two glaring errors, one of which almost led to a Rotherham goal.

    Thoughts?

Height - Leeds were second best in the headering department on Saturday.

    Agree?

What changes would you make to the starting line up tomorrow at Swansea?

Is this a game you'd expect to win?

Most of you will remember Peter Ridsdale's famous goldfish!

For those of you that are either too young or the majority that have simply blocked it out of your minds pretending it was a bad dream, Ridsdale used to rent a fish tank for the Leeds Utd board room costing the club £50 a week; well, up until recently Sunderland were spending £1,000-a-month to rotate plastic pot plants around the various rooms at the Stadium of Light.

    Thoughts?

Finally, Norwich City have painted their away dressing room pink to lower opponents’ testosterone!!!

Dr Andrew Bayliss, senior psychology lecturer at the UEA says although the pink effect would be small, it could be enough to tip results in marginal games.

Dr Bayliss said it would be a player’s emotional memory of a colour that would make the difference, warning that the tactic could actually work against Norwich.

He said: “If they have played a team with a pink changing room in the past and smashed them then the victorious feeling could be triggered, which might improve their game.”

I wonder what our shots on goal stats are compared to last years?

Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
First of all I would like to thank WJ for taking me to ER on Sat it was kind of him and then after my son showed me my plaque on Bremners statute I met some really nice chaps some I has seen before Simon and Ben and Life but had never had the pleasure of ,meeting Jammy and his college and we had a good old discussion I was sorry to leave
Now to my thoughts on the game In the first half we missed a host of chances against a Rotherham side set up in a 9.1. formation complacency seemed to creep in and Phillips had a stinker in the first half this seeme d to spread to Calamity who nearly gave 2 goals away and we were lucky to see a goal bound shot strike the post and spin out of play with BPF beaten
Second half we settled down again what would I change the two CB Pontus for Calamity and Foyth for Berardi this would give us height and strength
Apparently this lad a Liverpool is far better than Phillips so I would get him on loan as well Then I think we would be a much better side
Finally AR said he offered the mangers role to Conte in a 20m euro deal but he turned it down paper talk I think
Swansea have started off quite well but Brum should have beaten them last time so I fancy our chances
In the league Derby are not having things so good and QPR will dismiss Maclaren anytime soon I am afraid he will be on the scrap heap never to return
WBA have turned around first days defeat by scoring 14 goals in 2 games so the pink of Norwich helped them win

Morning all. I thought Rotherham gave a good account of themselves, but at no time did I think Leeds would not win. Some of the crisp passing was light years ahead of last year and Roofes goal was breathtaking. I think people talking of improving the team should bear in mind that they have only played together in three games and will improve.

I still say he was poor in the first half and lets face it it doesn't say about his misplaced passes that caused a few flutters from me

Morning all. delighted to see the Swansea game is on SKY. Cant wait for tomorrow night I must admit. Due to work, I virtually missed Saturday apart from Phil Hays twitter updates. Only caught the two minute highlights that night so cant say anything about the performance. Interested in opinions of you lot that were there though

Morning all...agree with most of the comments already made, performance was mainly effective rather than exciting, still,a win is a win and 3 points in the bag. Onwards & upwards MOT.

Phillips missed an interception & made a couple of poor passes in what was otherwise yet another splendid performance from KP. Cooper only made one glaring error, but apart from that he looked assured
Rotherham were noticeably a much taller side than our lads but tbh they didn't make their height pay, in fact I can't recall any headed chances for the Millers
    None
    Yes
    What a load of nonsense

I really don't get tbh Bucks. KP is a major cog of Bielsa's team

Nearly the goal of the season, if only Saiz had leathered the ball first time without taking a couple of touches

Morning Leeds60 I watched a bit of the first half on stream and I admit I noticed a few stray passes but I think the problem is his position highlights his mistakes more than anyone apart from a keepers.

If Saiz or Hernandez loses the ball (and they do as much as Phillips does) it doesn’t look like it matters as they are so far forward. Phillips is the best we have for his position by a country mile, I’m not saying he or anyone else is mistake Free but Bielsa has got us playing near to PL style football with Championship quality players.

If occasionally Saiz loses the ball, Hernandez takes on one too many players or a quick pass from Phillips doesn’t always come off I’m okay with that, I’m not really watching Barcelona and £50m players so I expect mistakes to happen.

Grot said he found it hard as the fans getting on his back got to him. We’ve seen keepers go to pieces when they make a mistake and look at De Bock last season, one mistake went to his head and he looked awful.

Phillips can have a lesser first half and come out shining the next, he can read what some fans think of him on social media and it’s water off a ducks back, he has a great mental attitude, he loves Leeds, only wants to play for Leeds I’m not saying you Mike but specially on Social Media I think some fans need to cut him some slack.

Four coaches or is it 5 now have all picked Philips and stuck with him, he adds a vital ingredient to the team, I think so anyway ;)

Berardi's best game for Leeds this season, he was excellent at Derby particularly in the 2nd half

This was the move that I was telling Bucks about in the Rotherham thread, just 10 seconds before that Phillips was the one involved getting it to Ayling wide right. <ok>

Wouldnt it be great if all us fans who have a moan at certain players thought it would be good to shutthefkup for a while, because lets face it we dont know as much as we think we do. In the past I was as bad as everyone else but under Bielsa who thinks he wouldn't rip a player a new one if he was having a bad game. Lets just leave it the boss to decide who's in, who's out and who gets a bollocking.

First half I was worried because it looked like nothing was coming off and heart in mouth watching errors from cooper and Phillips and a few more. Happy when it got to half time, played much better in the second and Ayling scored then my stream went down so listened on radio Leeds to a much better second half. Did we go to a 3-3-1-3 formation when Pontus arrived?
