I think that sentence sums up perfectly the daunting task ahead of any side viing for the title this season. Second game in After winning or first 4-0 We need to win 5-0to go back top, This is going to be tough...
So Utd bought martial who is apparently "not fast enough" Paid lingard 100k a week to playv second fiddle to mata as a right winger Rashford is just **** or something Felliani is the only option going forward cos nobody is quick enough. Precisely why lukaku is even there remains a mystery however... nobody seems able to explain why Utd even have him. I'm glad this concise picture of utds systemic failure of youth development and transfer policy has been developed this evening. Perhaps it may be even possible to explain the greatest mystery of them all, how the hell Utd thought paying 500k per week to Sanchez was a good idea
All true and we still finished 2nd last season, what's your excuse for 4th given what you were up against?
Tbf our squad was not and i would still argue is currently not as good as yours -i think the two squads are closer now. Genuinely i think we took our eyes off the league last season we had a couple of blips which you cannot afford to have then CL became too important. I still think utd will turn it around this season and fully expect jose to still be there, i think it will depend who the big cheeses think is better ZZ or JM - for me JM all day, today was just a bad day at the office. As mentioned few times now, the problem is atm is that noone can really live with Citys consistency, odd teams may be able to damage them in battle but they are way too strong in the war. I really hope someone keeps pace with them this season and obviously i really hope its us, but going to be a massive task for anyone. Tomorrow is a must win for us, even this early.
Still finished 4th which gets the same as 2nd at the end of the day. how far did Man U get in the CL last season?
So by both teams not finishing above citeh, both Liverpool and Man U got about as close. Since we both lost out? Negating any 'we finished higher than you' arguments Guess that means Stoke and West Brom got as far as well since they both lost out on the title too.
Why do we even need an excuse for finishing 4th last year, it got us what we needed. Nobody was catching Citeh anyway. Is this a deflection from your own short comings? I notice you've steered the conversation away from Man U and the performance today.
I have never been in a conversation about United's performance today If you are interested in my opinion, I only saw 30mins of highlights and thought my son's txts to me were spot on, shocking, ****e, pathetic. We obviously have a major internal problem, can it be sorted, who knows. Meanwhile you have sun and roses all the way, do you think you will finish any higher this season or will Chelsea sneak 4th?
