They are few and far between but some are good enough for the Premier League.

    Van Dijk for example.

I think Tiernay could cut it too.

We certainly don't have enough Moussas or Dembeles, either.
Could still be worth a punt, if he can sort out his injury problems.
Counts as homegrown, which is something that we need to sort out in our squad.

Forgot about Dembele, he seems to have gone off the boil a bit and I think Celtic would be more open to selling him now than before as they got other options.

Double deal for Tiernay and Dembele wouldn’t be the worst move.

How many bags of Monster Munch do you think Levy would offer them? A dozen, maybe?

He may do eventually but it wouldn't be his opening bid. Keeps his cards close to his chest.

Six to start off with and another three based on international appearances and trophy wins. Deal or no deal?

Seeing as it’s Scotland he might chuck in a can of Irn Bru too.

Imports that spent minimal time in Scotland. Gattuso played there when Rangers actually had some decent players in that 90s era.

VVD was an import that outgrew the league. Also needed to be nurtured by Saints, he was poor in his first year in the Prem.

I’ve read reviews of Tiernay in the past, many say he’s not the greatest at defending... If he can’t defend in the SPL then he’ll have no chance over here. Hutton was a prime example.

    I’ll take Ousmane Dembele!

Moussa still leaves a lot to be desired. Picked up a few injuries lately as you say and his 1 in 2 strike rate isn’t that great baring in mind he’s playing against league two equivalent defenders on a regular basis. When Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd were made to look like footballing gods in that league, it’s always a big no from me with regards to SPL players.

I’d rather let Southampton sign them and then if they nurture them like they did with Wanyama/ VVD, then make a punt.

There's conflicting reports about where CCV will be come the end of the month: some say he'll be returning to Ipswich on loan, while others say that a loan to Swansea is a more likely destination.

Anyone else get the feeling that, if we draw a League Two team in the Season Killer Cup, we'll be lining up with a back three of Juan Foyth, Japhet Tanganga and Jonathan Dinzeyi?

If we're going to start with three centre-halves on a regular basis, then neither Carter-Vickers or Foyth should be going anywhere.
Sticking them and Walker-Peters in a few U23 games to develop an understanding wouldn't hurt, either.
