To be fair, it was always going to be problematic, as it's the drink of the estrogen enriched, and you know how sensitive that lot can be. <ok>

Have a Friday night out in the north-east and ask for a g&t in any town centre.

    On second thoughts. Don't. <laugh> <ok>

  9. Your lot don't scare me.

If the landlord sells gin, he'd best pour me a triple, and he'd better be damned quick about it, or he'll feel the sharp edge of my tongue!

...and not in a pleasurable way.

  11. In my younger days, I would occasionally drink in a pub close to St James's Park. That is no mean task for someone who dressed in a Saville Row suit, silk tie, and who spoke with my accent!

Always got on fine with those lads.

One of them acted as my chauffeur for two days during a trial at the High Court. Wouldn't take a bean in payment.

Mind you, the bastard and his brother drank me potless on my last day.

Unless you're a woman or a homosexual cravat wearing luvvie, then Gin is a bit of a poncy drink for men.

I used to read Hellblazer comics and a gin and tonic was John Contantine's drink of choice - when I first started drinking I ordered one and remember being really disappointed that Bombay Sapphire gin wasn't blue.
